Terms & Condition
These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to the PD NZ Halloween #PDSpookyPets in which participants are required to like and comment on the Facebook competition post with a photo or video of their pet’s Halloween costume. Entries can be submitted by either commenting on the competition Facebook post or by posting on their Instagram feed or stories using the hashtag #PDSpookyPets for a chance to win a Prezzy Card worth $150.
A qualifying entry must:
- Like the Facebook competition post and follow the pd.co.nz Facebook account.
- Comment on the competition post with a photo or video of their pet in a Halloween costume, using the hashtag #PDSpookyPets.
- OR post a photo or video of their pet in costume on their Instagram feed or stories, tagging and following @pd.co.nz and using the hashtag #PDSpookyPets.
In these Terms, ‘pd.co.nz’ means PD Insurance, Pacific International Insurance and all related group companies (also referred to as ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’).
The Competition will run from October 14th, 2024, 00:01 NZST to October 31st, 2024, at 23:59 NZST. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be accepted.
- This Competition is only applicable to people residing in New Zealand.
- There will be one winner chosen from the pd.co.nz Instagram and/or Facebook pages.
- The winner will be selected by the pd.co.nz team on or after 12:00 PM (AEST) on October 31, 2024. The winner will be announced by November 8, 2024. The total value of the prize pool is 150 NZD, consisting of a $150 Prezzy card.
- To claim their prize, the winner will be contacted via Instagram and/or Facebook Direct Message (DM) so they may share their contact details (phone number, home address, and e-mail address).
- The winner will be selected based on the most creative pet costume. Entries must be original, feature a pet-safe costume, and clearly relate to the Halloween theme of the Competition.
- Fraudulent and duplicate entries will not be allowed and pd.co.nz reserves the right to disregard these entries.
- Pacific International Insurance employees and their respective immediate families are invited to participate by sharing their pet’s photos but are not eligible to enter to win this Competition.
- Animal safety and welfare must be considered at all times. If your photo is deemed to be unsafe or harms an animal in any way, you will be immediately disqualified and reported to Instagram and/or Facebook.
- pd.co.nz reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.
- pd.co.nz is not responsible for any technical issues, errors, or malfunctions related to Instagram or Facebook that may have hampered your ability to enter the Competition.
- pd.co.nz reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Competition at any time if the Competition is not able to be conducted as planned due to reasons beyond our control.
- This Competition is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- All photos posted on Facebook and Instagram feeds and stories, using the Competition hashtag #PDSpookyPets may be used in our marketing materials. This includes, but is not limited to, usage in pd.co.nz blogs and on pd.co.nz social media channels to share and promote content.
- If you are the lucky winner, you consent to pd.co.nz to publishing your name.
- Should pd.co.nz be unable to contact the winner and/or should one of the winners fail to respond to communications sent to the contact details provided by them and/or fail to respond to the communication provided to them by pd.co.nz through Instagram and/or Facebook Direct Message of the Competition post within 7 (seven) days from the date that they have been notified by pd.co.nz, pd.co.nz reserves the right to select another winner, withdraw the prize completely or donate the prize to a registered charity of its choice.
- Any decision we make is final with respect to all matters relating to this Competition and no further correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook and Instagram.
By entering the Competition, you are accepting the terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not enter.
